* A new design fee is required even if you had custom pet illustrations on your wedding paper goods, as these illustrations are created brand new in a slightly different style than invitations as a more detailed headshot.

TIMING:
Distressed wood signs are made custom per order, and will require roughly 3-5 weeks to construct prior to shipment. The timeline can sometimes run longer depending on my workload at the time or purchase. Please let me know prior to purchasing if you are in a hurry.

CHARACTER AND TEXTURE:
Do you love chippy wood, shiplap, and vintage treasures? (Me too!) Each distressed sign from Chicks n Hens is made to order by hand, and will be a one-of-a-kind treasure. Just as no two pieces of wood are the same, no two signs will be exactly the same. The distressing process will affect each sign differently. The "wear and tear" look will be visible in different areas in varying degrees on each sign. There are parts of the illustration that may be completely worn away in the distressing process (exposing the painted white wood beneath), but I will ensure key elements remain in tact (the couple's faces, pets / children, and the text). Please keep this in mind when purchasing and realize this adds to the charm! For those who prefer a "perfect" look; an enlarged print is a better option.

Your sign will ship via Priority Mail through the USPS, and will include tracking, insurance, and a signature requirement (for orders above $300) upon delivery.

Tracking will be sent to the email associated with your order.

UPON PURCHASING:
- Please email photos of the pets you would like illustrated, as well as your desired text for your signature drink options
- A list of popular font options will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours of purchase Monday-Thursday (and on Monday for purchases Friday- Sunday)

Please allow 2-3 weeks for the creation of your initial sample after photos are emailed. You will have the opportunity to make revisions to your design. After you approve your design your distressed wood sign will require 3-5 weeks to construct prior to shipment.
